Download and Install Software from Self Service on Mac OS
These directions can be used to install software programs from the Self Service application on a Mac.
Some installations, such as Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Cloud products, are quite large and can take some time to download and install. It is highly recommended that you only initiate an install at a time when your computer can be left powered on and connected to the network for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
You can access the Self Service application by doing a search for 'Self Service.' Double-click on Self Service to open the application.
When Software Center opens, you will have a list of available software applications.
Select the application you would like to install and click on the 'Install' button.
Any application that shows a 'Reinstall' button means that the software is already installed.
If you want to uninstall an application, go to Finder and navigate to the Applications tab.
Find the application you want to uninstall and drag it to the trash can. Empty the trash can to complete uninstall.
