How to Pin a Program to your Task Bar in Windows 7
Pinning programs to your task bar makes them easier to access. They will always be there when you sign into your computer, and readily accessible.
How to pin a frequently used program to your task bar.
Your task bar is the bottom part of your screen that holds your start button and whatever programs or documents you choose to pin there. You can easily pin and unpin programs depending on the frequency of their use. The task bar is always visible no matter what program you're in, which is why it is easier to use than shortcuts created on your desktop. It's suggested that you only have your most important programs pinned to the task bar so as to not overfill it with things you don't use.
