D2L is Having Issues Loading!
As of November 13th, 2014, D2L will be updated to no longer support SSL version 3, which has been found to have a vulnerability that allows hackers to steal personal information.
This document will show users how to workaround a new update to D2L security that causes it to not load in certain browsers.
If you are experiencing troubles with D2L loading after this date, please follow these steps to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
1. If you are using Internet Explorer, determine which version of the browser you are using. Steps to do this can be found here.
a. If you are using IE 7 or later, you may be having a separate issue with your own D2L. Please contact the Service Center for assistance.
b. If you are using IE 6 or earlier, your browser is no longer supported by D2L. You can update your browser here.
2. Another option is to use a different browser. D2L will be supported on both Mozilla FireFox and Google Chrome.
a. You can download/upgrade FireFox here.
b. You can download/upgrade Chrome here.
3. Once you have either upgraded your Internet Explorer or downloaded a new browser, your D2L should be working properly.
