KB User's Guide - Enabling Dark Mode for the TinyMCE Editor

This document describes how a KB author can set a preference for the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor to load in dark mode when editing KB documents.

  1. In the KB Admin Tools, go to the Home tab, then select My Profile from the side navigation.

  2. Set the dropdown for Editor dark mode to "Yes".

    This setting is the second to last option on the profile page.

  3. Select Update to save your changes. The next time you create or edit a document, the TinyMCE editor in the "Body" field will load in dark mode:

    When in dark mode, the editor in the body field will load with a dark background and white text and icons.
