Creating New Projects in Posit
This document will walk you through creating new projects in RStudio in the Posit workspace
- In your course's workspace, click "New Project," and select your project type. In this example, we will be using RStudio.
- A new RStudio prjoect will open. Be sure you click "Untitled Project" above to rename your project.
- To set your working directory, you will work within the Posit Cloud. Click the "Session" menu at the top of your RStudio project, and choose "Set Working Directory," then "Choose Directory."
- To create a new folder, click "New Folder" at the bottom of window.
- Name your new folder and click "OK."
- You will see your new folder display; click "Choose."
- You can confirm that the session is using the appropriate workspace in a couple places:
