AutoCAD Access for Independent Learning

Students in U900-104, Computer-Aided Design, use an application called AutoCAD to complete work. This document will walk you through setting up your AutoCAD account and accessing the application.

Getting Started

When you register for U900-104, Computer-Aided Design, you will receive an email from Autodesk. This should arrive within a business day or two of your registration.

The email will contain a link inviting you to create your account. Click the "Create your account" link to begin the process.

You will be taken to a page to create your account. Enter the appropriate information and agree to the privacy statement, then click "Create account."

Setting Up Your Account

You will receive a notification indicating your account was created. Check or uncheck the box about receiving electronic marketing communications as you prefer, then click "Done."

Finalizing Set-up Message

You will now receive an email indicating that you have access to AutoDesk software.

You can access AutoCAD either on your own computer by downloading it, or you can log into the Independent Learning Virtual Lab. Check your email for your log-in credentials or reach out to Technical Support for assistance.
