Joining Posit Spaces
Some courses will ask you to create a Posit account to access RStudio or other applications. Follow the steps below to join your course's Posit workspace.
- Your course will contain a link to the Posit environment for your course. Take that link to begin setting up your Posit account. Choose the Sign Up tab, then enter the necessary information.
- You will see a screen indicating that you need to verify your email address.
- Check your email account for a message from Posit Cloud asking you to verify your email address. Click the link in that email.
- Once you click that link, a browser tab should open with a message indicating your account was verified.
- You can close that browser tab, then go to the earlier tab indicating you needed to verify your account. Click Continue. You should see a message inviting you to join the course in Posit.
NOTE:If you do not have that tab open still or you do not see the invitation to join the course, just take the link to Posit in your course again.
