Adding or Changing Okta Devices

Adding an Additional Device (recommended)

  1. Sign in to your account (myapps.wisconsin.edu)
  2. Click Setup for Okta Verify
  3. Have the QR code ready to scan
  4. In the Okta Verify app, click the plus button in the top right.
  5. Select Organization
  6. Choose Skip when asked to add account from another device.
  7. Select Ready to Scan and scan the QR code present on your device.
  8. You have setup Okta Verify for mobile and can continue on the browser.

Changing Your Device

  • When getting a new phone, be sure to remove the Okta connection from the old phone before you get rid of it.
    1. On the old phone, open the Okta Verify app and tap the arrow in the top right corner.

    2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account at the bottom. This will remove the device from your Okta account.
  • Now you can add your new phone following the above on this page.
