Resetting a Forgotten Password

1. Go to the Canvas log-in page and select Universities of Wisconsin from the drop-down menu.
2. Click Forgot Password
   
3. Enter your username or email address in the next window.
   
4. Click Send me an email.
   
5. The window will show a link to the page where you will enter your verification code. Click to open that page.
   
6. You will receive an email from "Okta" with information on changing your password.
   
7. Enter the code from the email in the browser window you opened in step 5.
   
8. You will be asked to choose your verification process. Choose whichever you prefer.
   
9. Once you verify, you will be prompted to create a new password which meets the necessary specifications.
